Homecoming

27th of March : last day and moments in Žilina

On that day, after having packed our stuff with a touch of nostalgia, we enjoyed the sunny day by strolling in the town (see our article : The banks of the Vah river) and on the banks of our favorite river, I am sure you know which one I’m talking about, it is obviously the Vah river!

The Vah river

We enjoyed our last snack and prepared our meals (breads with marmalade, wraps with ham and vegetables, fruits, yogurts, chocolates and Manner – hazelnut cream filled wafers) for the next day : the return journey…

28th of March : the return journey

The alarm clock woke us up at 4:20 am! We had just the time to dress up, store our last stuff and boil water for the tea. We took our stuff, left the hotel with other students and went to the train station.

Ready to come back home!

At 5:24 am the train left the station with few minutes of delay and there began our all-day travel. For our last moments in Slovakia, we had the chance to see many hares and a hundred of deer! It was beautiful.

In the train from Zilina to Bratislava

At 7:45 am we arrived in Bratislava and had a 30 minutes-walk to join the meeting point. We got on the bus and began the longest travel of our life… After 12 hours in the bus, we arrived in France! Wonderful! We were nearly arrived in Paris, we thought it did… In reality, we had 4 hours left…

29th of March : the arrival

At 1:35 am, we finally arrived in Paris! We were relieved! After more than 3 hours for Mathilde and 40 minutes for me, we got home. Victory!

A well-deserved rest
