After lunch, we took another train to Štrbské Pleso. Is was colder than in Starý Smokovec. There was lot of snow in the city. We walked to a lake, we were expecting to see water but not at all. The lake was completely icy and covered with about 15 cm of snow. It was very very beautiful. A landscape in black and white.
We are children again. We made a snowman (its name is Francis), angels in the snow and we ran in the immaculate snow. It was very funny!
We walked a little around the lake. We took a hot chocolate or tea or coffee or beer to keep us warm. Then we found the others in another restaurant and we had to wait the train for 2 hours. When we left, it was -1°C, we were happy to have a little heat in the train. We stopped in Štrba to wait another train to Žilina.
When we arrived in Žilina, we were so tired that we ate at McDonald’s. This day was very long but full of beautiful landscapes.
