It’s been less than one week that we arrived in this city. But even if we didn’t see everything of Žilina we have already seen that it’s beautiful ! People are very opened and kind.
There is an association for Erasmus Students : the Erasmus Students Network (ESN) who helps us with the different things that we have to do at our arrival. For example, they took us from the train station and accompanied us to the hotel. They also helped us to do our student card and they are going to escort us to the police station. Indeed, as we stay more than 3 months in Slovakia, we need to register at the police.
The day following our arrival, we went to our coordinator’s desk to have some papers and she welcomed us. We also went to the university and the ESN gave a presentation and they welcomed us as well. We received some goodies like a pin, a thermos, a bag and many other things 😊.
This Thursday, we gave a presentation of our country and our school to the Erasmus and Slovakian students. Slovaks gave also a presentation but in Slovak language so we had some, I would say many, difficulties to understand…
